If you're a cat owner, you'll probably know the feeling.
After a long day, you come home to find your cat curled up on the couch, stretched out in a sunny spot, or waiting by the door for dinner. They may be small, but they bring a huge amount of comfort, companionship, and joy into our lives.
Moments like these often remind us of the cats who aren't as lucky.
Across New Zealand, many cats are still living rough. Especially through the colder months, they face challenges most of our pets will never experience — finding food, staying warm, avoiding illness, and simply staying safe.
When we started Pawganic, we spent a lot of time thinking about what kind of business we wanted to build.
Of course, creating quality products was important. But we also wanted to find a way to give something back to the wider animal community.
That's how the Pawganic Community Growth Programme came about.
The idea is simple. We want every purchase to do a little more than support the cats in our own homes. We want it to help support cats that are still waiting for a second chance.
Over the next few days, we'll be sharing more about the programme and introducing the rescue organisations we're proud to be working alongside.
